Moretti’s Miles For Meals

🎉 Excitement is in the air! Get ready to be part of something extraordinary at The Lorraine M. Walsh Memorial Foundation (DBA Basket Brigade of Suburban Chicago)‘s fundraising event. It’s an event like no other, and we want you to be there!

Moretti’s Miles for Meals is a 23-hour ultramarathon that will help raise awareness and funds for Basket Brigade of Suburban Chicago.

Renowned long distance runner, Rob Swiderski, will undertake an 80 mile ultramarathon starting Friday, August 29th at 7:15pm at Moretti’s in Barrington. On his route, Rob will visit Moretti’s in Lake in the Hills, Elgin, Bartlett, Hoffman Estates, Schaumburg, Mt Prospect and Wheeling.

YOU are invited to walk for the first half mile with Rob at each of the 8 segments, AND/OR run with Rob to the next stop. The ultramarathon will finish back at Moretti’s in Barrington on Saturday August 30th, at 6:00pm – 23 hours after it started.

Sponsorship of the ultramarathon is available by the mile or a fixed amount, and 100% of all donations will go to fund the purchase of Holiday Dinners for families-in-need in our local communities, delivered to them the weekend before Thanksgiving.
